Please note that these charges are in line with the BMA guidelines for GPs to charge for private work. The fees are not a guarantee of the completion of the report but are provided for GPs to be released from normal duties. The fee often needs to cover the time required by GPs to look through medical records to understand the patients background. The reports and medicals are done in strict order of request and can take up to 30 days to complete.
