Annual reviews have now been streamlined and patients will usually only be called in once a year for a full, long term condition, review. This review will be longer than your normal appointments and will involve you consulting with a number of clinicians so we can try and cover everything in the one visit. This will involve a phlebotomist, healthcare assistant, nurse, and pharmacist and on some occasions a GP. You will be invited for this around the month of your birthday and the initial invite will be done in a detailed and hard copy letter. Following this we will try and move these invites to either texts or e-mails.

Minor Surgery
The Medical Centre can perform minor surgery on-site and is currently done by Dr Mayland. The following list is indicative of what is available;-
Examination, biopsy and removal of suspicious moles, removal of unsightly skin lumps, cysts and skin tags, injection of painful joints.
To receive any such surgery patients must first visit the surgery for an assessment, this may be achieved by making an appointment with any Beechwood healthcare professional. This assessment will determine if this minor surgery is required.
